At The Smithsonian with the Beast Warriors!
So I had a bit of an adventure on Sunday, went out to the Smithsonian Natural History Museum with my coworker and her kid. (Will I ever get tired of that place? Sources point to no.) And because I am the biggest dork on the face of the planet, I kept my eyes open for Beast Wars-related displays. I don't think Coworker caught on to why I was taking pictures of random aminals. ;)
Canon characters first:
First up, the Bird Lady! *salutes*
"I am alpha and omega, the beginning and the end! And you will know my name is Megatron when I teach your children about the Jurassic Era! ....I don't think that's how my line goes, no. Script check, please."
Optimus Primal's awkward high school yearbook photo. ;)
Rhinox, after a hard day being Awesome.
Silverbolt. Sadly sans wings. Ah well, he's pretty anyway. ;)
There was a pteranodon model too, but the picture came out waaaaay too dark to see. So no Terry in this photo shoot, sorry. :(
And now, my OCs! :D All female, 'cause this is Me. (And also because I couldn't find a raven for Shadowing.)
Futility, Predacon, sabertoothed tiger. Rita to Megatron's Lord Zedd, sort of.
Karakat, Maximal, caracal. Taking a break from this whole war thing.
Hexenwulf, Predacon, technically a coyote-wolf mix though this is just a coyote. From a short-lived attempt at a BW continuation fic, an agent of the Tripredacus Council. Doesn't say much.
Steeljaw, Predacon, basically a vicious asshole. As likely to take a chunk out of another Predacon as a Maximal. Currently debating whether to put her or Hexenwulf in my Steampunk Beast Wars skibble series.
Phantom, Maximal, bobcat. An early version of the character who eventually became Karakat.
A pity the Smithsonian doesn't have any jackelopes. ;P
Also, while I was waiting for Coworker to get there, I went wandering about and found a rose garden. Here's a few of my favorites. :D
