A Safe Space for Moogles

I just beat Kingdom Hearts II! *boomshakaboomshakaboomshaka*

It seems to be becoming a tradition - I stay up waaaaay too late to beat games on nights where I have to get up early. XD

Also, I need the opening/ending songs. Homigod. *flail*

Also, will probably be drawing a self-insert at some point, just because I really do adore this world. *sigh*

So. Kingdom Hearts 2. Mulan and Belle.

SO MUCH LOVE. I wanna be them both when I grow up.

Today I:

- Attended orientation for volunteers at the animal shelter. I shall be working with dogs on the weekends. Yay! (Though some of their big dogs are rather intimidating.)
- Received my DS in the mail. The first thing I did was go into Animal Crossing and pull all the weeds that had sprung up in the past two months. XD And I taught one of the townies to say "Hail Galvatron!!"
- With my mom's help, cooked soup. It was very good soup. :D
- Bought a toy toolkit for my debut as Ratchet at Botcon. Because props are an important part of being in character, and if you're not in character then you're just a doof in a costume. ;)
- Got my bed back after the exterminator was done spraying. Hopefully this is the end of the g.d. bedbugs...

Tomorrow my goals are:
- Sleep in.

...It's, er, good to have goals. ^_^;;;

It's pink and cute and little and mine! Once I'm done with my backlog of Christmas presents I have to crochet a case for it. Something with flowers and a little pocket for cartridges and and... *dorks out* Anyway, so far I've got three games: Phoenix Wright, FFIII and Hoshigami. The whole shebang cost me my entire paycheck from the Job Which Must Not Be Named, almost to the dollar. (They didn't have Animal Crossing used, sorry, _kyri. I'll pick it up once I'm employed again.) I'm about halfway through Chapter II on Phoenix Wright so far. Phoen is totally adorkable.

Springkinkfic due in three days. Gah! I'm writing all these long ones this round! *flails* (Where "long" = over a thousand words, granted, but.)

I don't think I'll be getting my homework done tonight.

On an entirely unrelated note, I've acquired Balthier (the dandy highwayman I have no problems mentioning), Basch (sexiest hunk of manflesh ever to crawl out of a dungeon suffering from malnutrition and possibly scurvy), and Fran (ZOMG). This in addition to Vaan and Penelo, who are just painfully adorable.

So after faire on Saturday I was dragged to Arthur's house (you all would approve of him) to watch disks 3 and 4 of the aforementioned Best Series that Never Was. I'm amazed I managed to stay awake through them all, the way I was feeling, but such is the power of Firefly. Anyway, Arthur's decided to organize a Firefly tabletop RP for Saturday nights after faire, and I've been drafted to play the Captain.

Oh, help. XD Besides not being able to lead ants to a picnic, I've played tabletop a grand total of one time and I sucked at it. The only reason I didn't die was that the GM was my boyfriend at the time. XD So, of course I'll play. Should be high-larious.

Also, am playing FFXII. The game's a little slow to start, but I'm having too much fun being a headhunter to care.
