A Safe Space for Moogles

As fun as it is to bewail the oncoming Disney-fication of Marvel (oh come on, admit it, a Marvel world in Kingdom Hearts III would be adorable), I have to say I'm much more looking forward to a Marvel-fication of certain Disney properties. Think about it:

Years of abuse have made her tough as nails, and now she's finally had enough. With her deadly mop-fu and the birds and mice at her command, she's on a mission to uphold the honor of her late father and extract justice on those who prey on the powerless. Cinderella: she's going to clean up this town.

I'm wondering if Peter Parker wasn't already a latent precognitive, and the onset of his spider powers just sort of brought it out in him.

You guys, I cannot tell you how delighted I was when I opened the Transformers comic and it was all "Optimus is all alone! Suddenly, MEGATRON! And then the oral sex!" I haven't read it all the way through yet, so my fantasy has not yet been spoiled. ;P But yes, Free Comic Book Day was totally worth the long drive through unfamiliar territory. (There aren't any comic book stores closer than a half-hour away. I pout. ...And wonder how much capital it takes to start one, somewhere in the reality-free sectors of my brain.) The second store was small and clean, pretty conventional as comic book stores go; the first one was more of a used book store that sold comics too. It was quite charming, in an overwhelmingly cramped and musty-smelling sort of way. Maybe on another day off I'll head back up there and raid their sci-fi/fantasy section. ^_^

Also, there are baby bird and puppy pictures here, if you have not yet had your dose of Cute this week. (I left this picture out of the puppy set, because my big head is kind of the dominating element, but certain people on my flist have expressed interest in pictures of me, so there it is.)

Had a fun weekend, but because fun weekends usually lead to floppy moogles, I'll leave the report 'til tomorrow and hope you'll be content with a linkdump.

Because I couldn't find any comprehensive image list links, I took it upon myself to look through every single image in search of the ones y'all might be interested. That's right, my dear flist: I looked at scary Japanese porn so you didn't have to. Well, unless you want. ;P

In other news, I finally got my hands on the last issue of Megatron: Origins. I... think I need to switch factions now, excuse me... *wobbles, swoons, thuds and worships*

So I finally got around to reading Megatron: Origins 1 and 2 today (I get so much done as a result of being bored at work). Um, I think my general reaction can be summed up as as;ldkfjTHUD. Not fair to make the bad guy that fucking sexy in addition to making me sympathize with him. *fwibbles*

(Also, Optimus? Sorry, I know you idolize the guy and all, but Sentinel Prime is kind of a dick.)

Aaaaanyway, since Megs went and got me all hot and bothered, I of course had to stop what I was doing and draw something pervy. The result: Galvatron in bondage. It's pretty skibbly even with the inks, but all in all I'm pleased at how it turned out. Especially the expression on his face. *grin*
