A Safe Space for Moogles

I'm getting back into the writing groove again. Slowly. In fits and starts. Clearly my writerbrain runs on diesel.

Have a silly short thing, kind of an omake to Myths Jamie and Adam Never Busted. ( In which Optimus is introduced to America's national pastime... no, the other one. )

I've also written a couple of other short things in various places. I'm mostly linking them here so I remember to throw them onto DW at some point.
FFVII AU with tentacles, birthday fic for chibirisuchan.
Megatron/Sam for porn_battle, also with tentacles and holy shit I just picked up on that theme. Ahahaha, I are the dumb. Also, this fic is decidedly non-con and Not At All Right, so.

Also, someone please please MST this. It's got it all: mpreg, gratuitous rape, OOC, Oh The Drama, terrible grammar and spelling errors and some srsly bad writing. The worst part is, I could really go for some crack like this if it was only written well. XD

So I was rummaging through my 'started-never-finished' file and I found a TMNT ficbit that I thought would entertain my flist. *dutifully posts!*

I find Raph easier to write than the other turtles. I wonder why that is.

I wrote a silly. TF, very short, somewhere in between seasons 2 and 3, mostly to cheer vani_nessa up but it'd be cruel to keep it hidden away from the rest of the Intarwebz. ;)

Also, we have a window-attack robin. In the mornings as I'm getting ready for work by checking my email, I hear him going 'thunk-thunkthunk-thunk-thunk' against the window. I'm not sure what he hopes to accomplish. He's not trying to get my attention, because when I step outside he flies over to the tree and puts on the innocent act. Does he want food? Central heating? Maybe he's got amorous intentions toward one of our knickknacks, I don't know.

Sephiroth's kind of been all over the internet lately. I guess he got tired of waiting.

Percyplush update: the legs are attached, after some hemming and hawing over what size to make his butt. Still to do: assemble the arms (about halfway done), make the scope, and add the face and other detailing. No further injuries have been sustained at this time.

I may knock off soon, though, 'cause apparently I am about to give birth. To a velociraptor.

Also, for those who were wondering: deepbluesquee has made it safely to New York as of this afternoon.

First: How cute is this? TRANSFORMING ROLLER, U GUYZ. (okay, they call him Rollar, but screw that.) I want to pick him up and hug him.

Second: Added another plotbunny to my hutch. I want to write what happened during Roddy's little playdate with the Decepticons in (lj)childofatlantis's and my round robot. (No, it wasn't sex. Exclusively.) >_> Look, I'm getting some really pretty images, all right? Leave me alone.

Third, related: I have got to get some priorities straightened out on my writing. If nothing else, if I don't get back in the saddle with TF/Mythbusters soon the series will end before I finish the damn thing.

Fourth, further to above: I may not have a choice right now. Fluffiroth-angst, it compels me.

Fifth, possibly affected by above: I could use a job. Barring that, a hug and someone telling me that I'm not doomed to live in my parents' basement forever.

Sixth, apropos of probably nothing: I first got this song (warning, Axel/Roxas shounen-ai pix set to it- look, just put it in another tab and listen) as a Jenova-to-Sephiroth theme, so if you think of it in that way the lyrics are really disturbing, but oh my lord it's such a beautiful song. If I had that in my head I'm not so sure I wouldn't follow it either.

Seventh, apropos of yesterday: I really need to stop accepting the free samples they wave at you in mall food courts. That's how they hook you. Five minutes later you're sitting down with a plateful of chicken and limp, under-flavored noodles and thinking, "welp, there goes another year of my life to cholesterol poisoning." God, chinese food is crack. -_-

Eighth, speaking of crack: there was a D.A.R.E. booth set up outside of Michael's today. I appreciate what they're trying to do and all, but guys, Hasbro got to me long before you did.

I had an interesting time today with my mom's family (cousin's being shipped to Afghanistan; put in a good word for him with your deity of choice if you've got a spare moment), but blogging about that will have to wait. My 'kick some ass' button is being pressed.

Brief overview and link roundup: a woman in the American military was brutally raped and murdered, and the investigation was halted and ruled a suicide. The mainstream media remains quiet on the subject.

Your Congressperson ought to be notified, but honestly I think it would be more productive to notify John Stewart.

I read this post first thing this morning, and it was like a shot of homicidal rage straight to the heart. Better than drugs, I swear. Anyway, it may have been the early hour or my tendency toward escapism, but I found myself thinking, "General Sephiroth would not stand for this shit." (Pre-Nibelheim Seph, obviously. Although I'd like to think crazy!Seph would dismember those responsible too.) And so, I wrote this. Changed the name of the lady in question, but basically it's the same situation picked up and dropped into Seph's lap.

So I've been very firmly Not Allowed to angst about all the fic I should be writing until after I graduate, but I had some time and thinkyness left to spare today so I decided to sit down and do this one. And I'm alarmed at how quickly it poured out - maybe I've gotten to used to my OT4. XD
