ZOMG.

So I was out walking today and saw that some of the neighbors have put up their Halloween decorations. Specifically, somebody has on their lawn a giant, animatronic Blackarachnia. I am seriously not kidding. O_O Legs! And hourglass! And the head turned to look at me, I swear. ...Actually, judging from the bloatedness, it kind of looked like a pregnant Blackarachnia, which is truly too terrifying to even contemplate.

I'll see if I can get a picture sometime this week.

I wonder if dressing up as Silverbolt for Halloween is an entirely silly idea.

I love this holiday.

Dad's outside handing out candy in his gorilla suit and Bermuda shorts.

And me? I'm in costume as a responsible adult. *holds out bucket* Trickortreat! :D

...and it will squee. ^_^

It will squee even more if its mom (who is wonderful in every conceivable way) takes it to the Columbus Zoo. I get embarrassingly excited over animals of all kinds, of course, and the park was practically empty thanks to that whole 'school' thing so I got to spend some personal time taking pictures. Which I now share with you, 'cause I'm a share-y person like that.

All links, but there's lots of them. )

They also had pumas, red pandas and bobcats, but I couldn't get good shots of them, sadly. :( But it was still an excellent and wonderful experience. This is me, squeaking madly. Squeak! :D

And as long as I've got my camera out, pics from Rocky Horror on Saturday:

Me in my costume! It's only after I see this pic that I realize how see-through my blouse was. Ohgod. XD
Deliver the booty or walk the plank! Arrrrrrr!
[info]_kyri is amused by my antics.
I have no idea how I got the streaky lights, but I kinda like 'em.

As you can see, it's been an interesting week. ^_^

After a narrow escape from Navy recruiters this morning, I spent pretty much all day working on my Halloween costume (which I'll probably only wear on Saturday to The Rocky Horror Picture Show). The concept? A pirate catgirl. Because on Halloween, you can be any damn thing you want.

Yes, there will be pictures. You in the back, sit down.

Also, I did a meme. This is stolen from [info]lycaonvulpes: Fandom and Getting Laid! )
