A Safe Space for Moogles

Let's do this meme. Inspired by (lj)beckyh2112, but tweaked a bit owing to my circumstances.

So here's the thing. Starting Friday and lasting for at least two weeks, my Internet access will be rather sporadic if not altogether nonexistent. Of course, it would be cruel to leave you all moogle-deprived for so long. So, let's play a game! Behind the cut is a list of prompts from the Transformers Kink Meme that I found Intriguing. Your job, should you choose to accept it, will be to choose one of those prompts (or choose one more to your liking) and write me some Smut. Can be as short or long as you like. After you craft your masterpiece, you may choose another prompt from the list (either mine or from somewhere else) that you want me to write, and I will do so to the best of my ability once I get settled in my Final Destination.

This will be conducted in porn_battle rules*. Multiple people may write the same prompts, and one person may write as many fics as they like. The only caveat I ask is that you try not to claim the same prompt more than once for me to write, for obvious reasons.

In other news, Mom and I went shopping today. Mom spoiled me shamelessly due to Impending Graduatedness, but she's not going to let me have the books I picked out 'til after the ceremony. I'll pretend to be surprised. ;)

So I've been very firmly Not Allowed to angst about all the fic I should be writing until after I graduate, but I had some time and thinkyness left to spare today so I decided to sit down and do this one. And I'm alarmed at how quickly it poured out - maybe I've gotten to used to my OT4. XD

...Post about real-world stuff coming up, I promise. I just wanted to get this out there first.

I think my subconscious is telling me that I really, really, really need to get laid. By a giant robot. Who isn't inclined to kill me.

I never quite know how to introduce Wreck-Gar in a diplomatic setting. (In other settings, "he's weird" usually covers it.)

I can't say he's the 'leader' - Junkions have kind of anarchic society. Nor is he the 'spokesperson' - Wreck-Gar will be the first to tell you he doesn't speak for his people. There's no official process for making decisions that affect all the Junkions, no voting, nothing that even resembles bureaucracy. They all just do what they want, and somehow it all works out to be what they all need.

I suppose Wreck-Gar's role is that of liason. He learns from us, and passes it on to his people, who take what he gives them and run with it. The closest I can compare it to is Terran hive insects: communication is everything. ...Except, that gives me mental images of Wreck-Gar as the hive queen, and ow.

So, um, Saturday didn't quite go as planned. I was going to do that charity walk with Poptart, but check-in was at eight and we slept 'til almost, um, ten... ^_^;;; This is why I don't like asking people for monies. But Poptart said she'd send the charity peoples a check so all you kind people's donations don't just go into her toy fund. *...ducks!* You know I love you, Poptart. ;)

Anyway, it was a beautiful day and it would've been a waste to spend it inside, so we went to a local putt-putt place. ^_^ We both suck pretty hard at putt-putt, but we had a lot of fun, and, y'know, fresh air and exercise and all that. I got a bit of a sunburn 'cause I was wearing a sleeveless top, but not too bad considering all the sunburns I've gotten. *is paaaaale* And we also spent a little time at the arcade (skeeball ftw) and went around the track in go-karts. ^_^ *has Autobots clamoring for attention now* So, all in all a good day.

Also, I'm now caught up on TF:Ani. Bring on the smut!

EDIT: Why in the world wasn't this available before Botcon? A wrench I can throw at people and not give them a concussion! It would've been perfect! *flails!*

apathocles: ... See, I think Starscream could find some sort of contentment in this life. Legions of loyal followers, lots of explosions, lots of booze... really, who could ask for more?

(Also, he gets to have enemy hatesex with the Autobots and the Decepticons, so he wins on even more fronts in that department.)

raisedbymoogles: And he gets to be smarter than everybody around him and not get smacked around for it! Really, what's not to love.

That was the crackiest dream quite possibly EVAR. I'm still giggling over it.

I dreamed that Megatron (G1 version) got infected by the Internet. No, not just he picked up a little touch of the e-chlamydia, I mean the entire Internet. He was a walking repository of - well, you all know what the Internet is like. XD

It didn't seem to dull his effectiveness, though - while the Autobots were all standing around going LOLWUT, Megatron managed to enact his Evil Plan and turned Prowl and Hound into Decepticons. (They made worryingly good Decepticons at that.) I didn't see Starscream anywhere, oddly - you'd think he'd have something to say about Megatron spouting lolisms. Maybe the mighty tyrant rented him out to a porn site.

That'd make a good story, actually. If a brainbreaking one. (Megatron as an avatar of the Internet, I mean, not... oh, never mind, y'all are gonna take that last thing and roll with it anyway. XD)

EDIT: ...Oh my god. My professor is listening to Monty Python on her iPod. WIIIIIN.

Attack of the Autobots is really kind of a dark episode (doubly disturbing after the fun crackiness that is City of Steel). Even without the issue of being under their enemy's control, none of the 'Bots are really violent people. And it was pretty clear Optimus found the experience rather traumatic, for one, towards the end. I can't help but wonder about the aftermath, how the Autobots dealt with the emotional fallout and all.

...Which is why I feel kinda guilty that it's far too easy for me to picture Megatron cheerfully perving over Evil!Optimus.

Megatron: Prime, you make a magnificent Decepticon... *too-bright optics, wicked grin*
Optimus: ...gaaaah. *goes to take a long shower*
Moogle: *headdesk* Oh, my headcast.

Attention Transfandom:

The Decepticons are not 'misunderstood.' They are not trying to make the world a better place, they were not tragically abused and unloved as children, they are not oppressed by the mean ol' Autobots not rolling over and dying, and despite what Victory would have you believe, they are not out to provide for their wives and children. They are out to conquer the universe, and everything that isn't a Decepticon is either to be enslaved or destroyed toward that end. They are not, by any stretch, nice people, and the Power of Love will do precisely zippo to change that.

Which is not to say, of course, that they are or should be all one-dimensional characters. By all means, explore their individual motivations. Make them interesting, give them backstories, give them weird hobbies and show us different sides to the same person. But please, for the love of Primus, think about who you're writing. Megatron is not a fluffy huggle-bunny, and neither is he a fifteen-year-old girl.

Also, get a beta reader. Just sayin'.

...I'm so sorry about this. XD I'd blame it on ides_of_march, but the truth is it was half-written already and it just happened to fit one of the prompts. I would've written it anyway.

Dear Megatron,

Two days without a peep from you and you decide to keep me up until one a.m. on a school night getting Optimus in bondage? This is not proper care of a moogle, my friend. I slept through half a lecture and it's all your fault.

Fortunately, two can play at that game. Chinese New Year is coming up; I'm going to play with Rattrap and Splinter, and you can just wait on my convenience for a while.

Let me say that I am pleasantly surprised. Also rather relieved - I was prepared to have to go "well, it could have been a lot worse" and "they have to appeal to a wide audience". Instead, shock! The writers really did a good job!
